5/7/26 – As we approach the 75th Anniversary of the National Day of Prayer, we are reminded that the earnest, heartfelt, and continued prayer of the righteous makes tremendous power available. For 75 years, churches across our nation have set aside this day to seek the Lord together. This year, One Christian Network is calling the Church of Wilmington into a significant, unified moment.
The Flow of the Day (join for some or all):
• Morning (9:00–11:00 AM) – Strategic prayer across the city (unity focus). SEE PRAYER LOCATIONS HERE
• Midday (12:00–3:00 PM | Long Leaf Park) – Worship and prayer as one Church
• Evening (6:30–8:00 PM | Long Leaf Park) – A unified Night of Prayer & Worship
We’re believing for 50 churches!
We are believing for at least 50 churches to come together!
How Your Church Can Be Involved:

Good Shepherd Center, in partnership with Nourish NC is asking for the community’s support with donations of school supplies for the children each organization serves.
This year, especially, families are challenged with the changes and uncertainty brought about by COVID-19.
Whether school is in person or virtual, children need essential supplies in order to be successful. In addition to spiral notebooks, Good Shepherd and Nourish NC are looking for pens, pencils, colored pencils, pencil sharpeners, markers, crayons, highlighters, glue sticks, scissors, construction paper, lined paper, composition books, binders, folders, calculators (with batteries as needed) and backpacks.
The collection drive takes place July 20 through August 14 and donations can be dropped off at Good Shepherd Center, 811 Martin Street from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. This school supply drive will benefit New Hanover County school students of all ages and grades.
