Journey to Heal Ministries is a volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Wilmington, NC. 100% of all donations go directly to support our mission to love and empower women healing from past sexual trauma. They specialize in helping women (any adult woman) heal from past sexual abuse (no matter what stage it happened in their life) by leading them to hope in Jesus Christ, through providing trauma-informed and Christ-centered support, education, and community.

Free programs include:

• Journey to Heal Women’s Study Groups (8 week courses, both in person and online)
• Journey to Heal 1:1 Women’s Study (8 sessions going through the Journey to Heal book)
• Journey to Heal Mentor Training (leadership training for women who have been through our programs and wish to offer
• Journey to Heal groups into their local church, NPO, or counseling practice)
• Prevention Education Events (related to preventing and ending child sexual abuse)

We are both a local service provider and global, as all of our services are offered online as well.

Choose Your Path
Select a format that best suits you. Each option is led by our trained volunteer mentors and involves an 8-week journey guiding you through the Journey to Heal Women’s Study by Crystal Sutherland. There is no cost for these programs. However, you will need a Bible, a personal journal, and a copy of Journey to Heal: Seven Essential Steps of Recovery from Childhood Sexual Abuse to participate.
