Foster Pantry provides resources for foster families.

Foster Pantry was founded by foster parents who knew first-hand the need for support and resources for our local foster care community. They quickly learned that they were surrounded by a community that wanted to help but wasn’t quite sure how. They made it their mission to educate the community on ways they could help provide caregivers and children in foster care with essential needs and resources to ease the transitions of our local foster children. 

“At the Foster Pantry, we’ve made it our mission to ensure that foster parents and kinship families in our Cape Fear area (New Hanover, Brunswick, and Pender counties) are prepared for when they get the call.

Our goal is to facilitate the process of gathering childcare supplies, by eliminating the chaotic, last-minute trip to the store and families remain supported by the community after that first day.”
