Legal Aid of North Carolina is expanding its expungement services to remove a criminal conviction or charge from a person’s record. Such second chance programs allow those who have served their time to be prosperous, law-abiding community members rather than automatically excluded from opportunities and often cycled back into the criminal justice system. We are delighted Legal Aid of NC is bringing their expungement staff to The Harrelson Center, affording our partners’ clients ease of access to these services.
